The aim of this project is to make the footprint of a mining operation transparent and provide a positive sustainable legacy after its closure.

The core of the strategy is to create a flexible collaborative platform connecting all the stakeholders located in the extended area of the mine.

The platform will provide a management tool to collaboratively:

Manage the water resources with real time data (quality and capacity) and create a scenario to plan sustainable future developments
Manage all the waste generated by the region, including the mine, with the development of an adapted recycling plant designed according to the local needs.

This platform and the recycling plant will keep operating after the closure of the mine and contribute to a sustainable improvement of the region.
