Following the resounding success of EMC 2023 in London, Amira Global is delighted to invite our member companies and industry stakeholders to attend the 14th Biennial Exploration Managers’ Conference (EMC 2025). Taking place on 24–25 September 2025 at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, Gold Coast, Australia, this event continues to serve as a global platform for collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership in mineral exploration.
The EMC is a global platform which brings together thought leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across the minerals exploration industry to discuss critical challenges, share groundbreaking ideas, and spark meaningful collaborations. Continuing its legacy of thought leadership, connection, and conversation, EMC2025 will serve as a space for honest discussions, knowledge-sharing, and forward-thinking dialogue on the future of mineral exploration.
This year, an advisory committee consisting of representatives from Amira’s member organisations has helped shape a compelling agenda designed to inspire new ways of thinking and deepen industry collaboration. The theme for 2025 has been developed in association with our member comprised advisory committee and is focused on the theme: Exploring Exploration – Where Does It Start? Where Does It Stop? This topic will be explored through subthemes including time, uncertainty and collaboration.
- Time – The role of geological and technological advancements in exploration timelines.
- Uncertainty –Navigating risk, discovery potential, and market influences in exploration decision-making.
- Collaboration –The increasing interconnections between companies, governments, and research institutions.
By addressing these sub-themes, EMC 2025 aims to shape new approaches to mineral exploration, ensuring the industry remains innovative, adaptive, and sustainable.
Building on the success of previous conferences, EMC 2025 will foster an inclusive environment where all perspectives are welcomed. Underpinned by Amira Global’s diversity and inclusion strategy, the event aims to create a collaborative space where industry stakeholders can shape the path forward for sustainable and responsible mineral exploration.
