The final SRM of the WAXI Stage 4 project took place in Saly, Senegal in October 2025. The 3-day SRM delivered in both French and English, included several skills transfer workshops and meetings session for sponsoring companies, researchers, geological surveys, and government departments, in West Africa. The key achievement of the WAXI are summarised in the chart below: 

The research team will finish the final report for this phase and commence engagement to scope the next stage of WAXI. The Amira P934 series of WAXI projects has demonstrated a world-class approach to understanding of the mineral potential of the West African Craton and continues to deliver on this mandate whilst looking to engage current and potential sponsor companies from juniors, minors and majors, for the next phase of the project.
