Amira Global is pleased to see growing momentum behind the P1322 East African eXploration Initiative (EAXI), with the project now supported by five confirmed sponsors, and several more have expressed a growing interest to sign on soon.

This four-year collaborative initiative aims to advance understanding of East Africa’s base metal and gold exploration potential through the generation of high-quality geological datasets and exploration-relevant insights.

EAXI focuses on regional geological integration across key East African cratons, mobile belts and rift systems, supporting new perspectives on mineral systems including gold, lithium and rare metals. The project also places a strong emphasis on capacity building, knowledge transfer and the development of local geoscience capability.

By bringing together industry, academia and government, EAXI is helping build a stronger foundation for future exploration across one of the world’s most prospective emerging mineral regions.
