Amira Global is advancing the future of mineral processing through the development of P1354: Digital Transformation of Mineral Processing through Integrated Modelling and AI.
Building on the proven legacy of the P9 series and more than six decades of collaborative research, P1354 combines physics-based process understanding with artificial intelligence, machine learning and real-time plant data integration to support the next generation of intelligent mineral processing systems.
The project aims to develop platform-neutral, AI-ready expert models capable of continuous recalibration using operational plant data, enabling:
• Improved throughput and recovery through data-driven optimisation
• Reduced variability and energy intensity via adaptive AI-enabled control
• Greater capital efficiency by maximising existing plant capacity
• Enhanced decision-making and future-ready pathways toward autonomous operations
By bridging mechanistic expertise with digital intelligence, P1354 represents a significant step toward smarter, more adaptive and more efficient mineral processing operations.
