Prior to the start of the Austmine Copper to the World Conference in Adelaide, Amira Global is pleased to invite conference delegates to influence and inform an Amira full mining value chain Copper Program and experience an exclusive guided visit to Data Metallogenica (DM). This early conversation provides an opportunity to influence future programs and network with other industry personnel.

Places are limited, so early registration is encouraged. Register your interest to attend here: Amira Global Data Metallogenica Registration For further information please reach out to Silvia Black at silvia.black@amira.global.

Data Metallogenica (DM) is one of the world’s largest physical libraries of ore deposits, providing a comprehensive, interactive and data-rich resource for the global minerals industry and geoscientific research. Owned and operated by Amira Global on behalf of the international minerals industry and associated institutions, Data Metallogenica is a not-for-profit, self-funding initiative. It serves as a technical encyclopaedia of ore deposits, containing detailed geological, mineralogical and geochemical information from thousands of mineral deposits around the world.

Often described as a virtual field trip for geoscientists, DM preserves invaluable historical and contemporary knowledge that may otherwise be lost through mine closures or the retirement of experienced geologists. It continues to support mineral exploration, research, education and industry collaboration by providing unique access to one of the world’s most significant collections of ore deposit information.

Please note that attendees are responsible for making their own way to the Data Metallogenica facility at Tonsley. The venue is easily accessible via Adelaide’s public transport network, with regular train services operating from Adelaide Railway Station (adjacent to the Adelaide Convention Centre) to Tonsley Station.
