Innovation Framework
Amira Global’s Innovation Framework is a dynamic platform designed to accelerate breakthrough solutions across the minerals value chain by connecting global expertise, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships. It supports innovation from ideation to implementation—focusing on de-risking, validating, and scaling high-impact technologies.
At the core of the framework is a globally engaged R&D+i ecosystem, supported by the Amira Global Innovation Advisory Board, Innovation Forums, and innovation communities. Through technology scouting, crowdsourcing, and benchmarking, the framework identifies promising adjacent innovations at low to mid Technology Readiness Levels (TRL 3–7) and facilitates their advancement through structured validation and pilot testing processes.
The framework features a dedicated path for scaling and operational integration—helping members transition technologies from pilot phase to full-scale deployment. It enables Amira members to participate in testbeds, strategic evaluations, and cross-sector collaborations that accelerate time to value.
Internally, the Innovation Framework enhances Amira’s capacity to strategically manage its technology portfolio, align innovation programs with industry challenges, and drive collaborative outcomes across its global membership. It strengthens the link between innovation and Amira’s other core frameworks—such as Mining, Sustainability, and Mineral Processing—ensuring that innovation is embedded in every layer of the value chain.
