ALTA 2020 Online is a world-class annual metallurgical conference and a leading platform for innovation. The digital version of this highly regarded conference offers the convenience to participate from anywhere in the world.
For the past 25 years ALTA has provided a dynamic forum for sharing ideas, technologies and projects with a focus on the importance of metallurgical innovation. The emphasis of the carefully crafted program is practical rather than academic, and in recent years has expanded to include the hot topics of Lithium Processing, Battery Technology and In-Situ Recovery, and to reflect the rapidly developing field of battery metals.
This year the event includes six practically-oriented short courses, with course presenters drawing from extensive industry experience. Courses topics include Lithium Processing, HPAL, Bulk Flow Systems, Copper Ore Leaching, Solvent Extraction and Uranium Processing.
ALTA 2020 Online is designed to be accessible to attendees in all time zones, while being presented live in Perth time (AWST). Presentations, panel discussions, short courses and webinars will be available for on-demand viewing until March. Presenter Q&A chat will remain live for the duration of the conference, providing ongoing opportunity for meaningful discussion and exchange of ideas.
