Amira Global’s research project P1249 will develop new methodologies and workflows for early mineralogical characterisation of complex orebodies that can be upscaled in order to facilitate exploration for and domaining of complex orebodies. It will provide new geochemical and geological exploration tools to aid exploration for and characterisation of porphyry, epithermal, skarn, carbonate-replacement, and other types of hydrothermal ore deposits. This three-year Amira Project aims to address current shortfalls in forecasting seismic hazards for underground excavations using advanced numerical modelling methods.
